Part Time full-charge Accountant

We are seeking qualified candidates who are motivated to contribute their talents to making cost-effective solar energy an important part of the worlds energy mix. This position is based at our Milpitas, California office.
Overview:
We are looking for a part time full charge book-keeper/controller who can join and contribute to our team. Candidate should be professional in demeanor and able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with variety of people and executives. Candidate should be motivated to provide excellent customer service to colleagues and clients. Well organized, diligent and accurate with follow through on projects and tasks. Proficient with Quickbooks and Microsoft office suite.
Responsibilities:
Processing and recording all invoices
Handling of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Processing and Setting up new Vendors in the system
Creating, processing and entering Purchase Orders
Process weekly payroll for field employees
Process and track employees reimbursements
Produce financial reports as needed
Manage customer/vendor accounts
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years experience in book-keeping/accounting required
Prior experience in the construction industry is a strong plus
Minimum of 3 years experience with Quickbooks
Strong background in Accounting and Business Administration
College degree in Accounting/Business Administration
Compensation: Hourly
20-30 hours a week/On-site (potential to add weekly hours over time)
