IEH Laboratories, a Leader in Food Safety, is now accepting applications for the Laboratory Analyst position at its facility in Guadalupe, CA.

Applicants must possess a BS or BA in the biological sciences or a related field.

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills:

- Strong attention to detail

- Proficiency with data entry and computer applications

- Multitasking capability

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivated

- Strong understanding of aseptic technique in the laboratory

The Laboratory Analyst duties include: analysis of food samples for pathogens via PCR and immunoassay, various microbe enumerations, data entry, laboratory reporting, quality control, and media preparation. This is a full-time position in which the employee will be eligible for standard benefits after a brief waiting period.

The schedule for this position is an alternating schedule, 12PM - 8:30PM with weekends as needed.

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required, conducted in accordance with any applicable local, state, and federal law.
