We are currently recruiting for an Human Resources Assistant in the Lompoc area. This position is Full Time and temporary (with the potential of becoming temp to hire for the right fit), with the hours from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The pay rate for this position is $16/hr. If you are qualified and interested in this position, please apply ASAP!

Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist the Human Resources department in all clerical needs

Coordinate employee events, prepare posters or signage, prepare new hire or termination packets, file, archive files or records, route employee status forms for approval/approval follow up

Create and post job postings on specified websites or Applicant Tracking System (ATS) as directed

Source potential candidates for open positions

Make calls to potential candidates and send their resumes to/follow up with the hiring supervisors

Coordinate interviews, candidate travel, and lodging arrangements

Ensure interview remains on track alerting interviewers to potential delays as necessary

Assist in maintaining the ATS to ensure efficient tracking and organization of job requisitions, referral sources, interview process status, and EEO information

Work with other HR staff to update recruiting reports or other job tracking matrices on an as needed or weekly basis

May assist in performing background/drug screening via 3rd party vendors

Adhere to company and departmental policies and practices as well as ISO, safety, and security measures

Perform as a backup operator/receptionist as needed

Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

3+ years of administrative experience

Human Resources experience preferred

Previous experience using an applicant tracking system is a plus

Ability to properly communicate through both oral and written communication

Ability to work independently, with little to no instruction, as well as on a team

Strong attention to detail

Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service abilities and professionalism at all times
