As well as supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in Production.Job Description:Job Title: Production SupervisorCity: GoletaState: CaliforniaJob Duration: Temp to HireFull-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3rd shift (11:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.) Must be able to work in the morning to get trained for 2- 3 weeks.Pay Rate $20-25/hr DOE Job Responsibilities: Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of goods, such as machine setters, and fabricators.Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports, in order to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. 5. Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.Understand production materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training.Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers.Hold daily department meetings.Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalentFive (5) plus years supervisory experience in a production setting.Completion of some college credits is a plus Knowledge of: Microsoft computer programs (Word and Excel)Spanish Speaking is a plus MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/BACKGROUND CHECKDon't miss out on this position - APPLY TODAY!
