Full-time position/40 hours per week
Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm

Summary
Applies principles of accounting to a variety of accounting assignments including analysis of financial information and preparation of financial reports for Jordano's Inc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This position will require advanced knowledge of and a power user in MS Excel. Duties will include abstracting and analyzing financial data; preparing various types of reports for budgeting, forecasting, financial plans, and cash flow projections; entering data into established databases and other data templates to support the preparation of written reports and presentations; identifying and addressing data quality issues; preparing, creating and analyzing financial data set spreadsheets.
The person in this position prepares and posts monthly journal entries; prepares monthly financial statements; completes monthly account reconciliations on all Balance Sheet accounts, as well as, selected income and expense accounts; reviews, investigates and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents and reports; and performs additional duties as assigned, delegated or required.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting or a related field and at least two years of accounting experience, especially in reporting, abstracting data information, setting and automating existing processes.
Other Skills
Excellence in communication skills, data gathering, analysis, reporting, and process improvements. Comprehensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply GAAP principles. Power-user of Excel.
