We are looking for an analog design engineer to be responsible for engineering of analog modules for E-beam metrology tools.Job missionHermes Microvision, Inc. (HMI), an ASML company, is a leading supplier of advanced E-beam inspection and pattern verification systems used for advanced semiconductor devices. HMI has multiple years of e-beam application experience and leadership in semiconductor industry, focused on high resolution and voltage contrast imaging. As part of ASML, HMI will boost ASML’s holistic lithographic portfolio of (i) lithography exposure systems, (ii) computational lithography and (iii) metrology. Between these three cornerstones ASML offers application products for process window enhancement, control and detection. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to go beyond yourself in developing more advanced techniques and pushing the boundaries of technology.Job description· Work with module, and sub-system architect, make EPS and TPS for test setups for modules, and sub-systems according to the TPS of the modules, and sub-systems· Conduct design, prototyping, characterization and qualification of the test setups and generate EDS and TAR of the test setup· Join the detailed design, prototyping, and debug, and full function bench test of modules and sub-system. Conduct module and sub-system level characterization and qualification, and generate TAR of the module and sub-system· Work with sourcing team and outside supplier in test setup development, and module and sub-system development· Interface with other technical teams including but not limit to: firmware, software, and application teams. Support module level and sub-system level and system level integration. Support firmware and software development. Support application team in application recipe generation.Education and experiencePh.D. with 2+ years of hands-on experiences, or master with 5+ years hands-on experiences, or bachelor with 8+ years hands-on experiences, in electrical engineering or related fields. Hands-on experiences of schematic capture, schematic level simulation, PCB layout, PCB level simulation, prototyping, and problem solving. Familiar with test equipments such as multi-meter, SMU, signal / function generator, oscilloscope, signal / spectral analyzer, and network analyzer. The successful candidate should be a team player and should have self motivation, initiative, dedication, and strong communication skills. The candidate should also the following specific skills or experiences.Desired skills and experiences· OPA application experiences (board level)· Linear regulator circuit design and building experiences (board level)· Switch mode power supply circuit and / or linear power supply circuit design and building experiences (board level)· Reference circuit (board level) design and building experiences· Data convertor application experiences (board level)· Mixed signal circuit (board level) design and building experiences· Knowledge of device physics for BJT, JFET and MOSFET for both switch mode and linear operation is a plus· Knowledge of optical design is a plus· Knowledge of MEMS sensor is a plus· Knowledge and experiences of board level and module level shielding and grounding is a plus· knowledge and experiences of signal integrity and power integrity is a plusContext of the positionThe position is based in the R&D office in San Jose, CA.REQ ID: req12567
