The Assistant Operations Manager will oversee oversees the leadership of all food and beverage outlets within the hotel operated by Hyatt which includes our restaurant Quail and Crane, Twin Crafts Market and Bar, In Room Dining and our Grand Club Lounge.

Quail & Crane – Two birds representing the coming together of East and West. Our signature three-meal restaurant will provide our guests with a multi-cultural culinary experience with a focus on fusion and classic Asian food preparation techniques, side by side with Western dishes. Restaurant will have a sushi bar featuring fresh, chef-inspired rolls using high quality, thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Open kitchen concept.

Twin Crafts Market - Offering a wide range of fresh and healthy items to the “on the go” traveler.

Twin Crafts Bar - This invites guests to enjoy casual bar food, craft cocktails, California wines and local beers. This person may also coordinate special events at the hotel. The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager must have strong communication and analytical skills. Food and Beverage cost control experience is helpful. The Assistant Operations Manager will report directly to our Director of Outlets. Minimum of 2 years as F&B leadership preferred

Wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment preferred

Ideal applicant should have strong organizational skills, ability to work with flexible work schedule, be a team player and a dynamic leader

Must be creative with a positive outgoing attitude

Adapts and thrives with change

Modern or fine dining experience preferred

Service oriented style with professional presentations skills

Proven leadership skills

Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset

Must possess the following strengths: high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leader, proven track record in high volume concept, effective communicator, effective in providing exceptional customer service and ability to improve the bottom line

Clear concise written and verbal communication skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
