G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for a self-directed and motivated individual to join our team as a software developer in support of a DoD program.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of programming experience in C for Junior level, 5 -10 years of programming experience in C for mid-level
  • Experience in Agile Software Engineering Process and Life Cycle
  • Effective communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in the team setting
In addition to the skills mentioned above, having a few of the skills below is desirable:
  • Experience with DoD software development projects with tactical data links a plus;
  • Experience with GIT, JIRA, Jenkins development environments;
  • Experience in Object Oriented software analysis and design, as well as UML, IDL, and/or UDL;
  • Experience in User Interface design and implementation;
  • Experience with unit testing automated tests, and test-driven development;
  • Experience in software simulation development and integration;
  • Ability to participate in all phases of scientific and engineering projects such as research, design, development, testing, modeling, simulating, training, and documentation.
Jr. position hourly range is $45 to $55. Mid. position hourly range is $55 to $75.Education: Bachelor’s degree, from an accredited four-year college or university, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The Junior and Mid categories are based on years of experience and/or degree.This position requires an individual to be a and either have, or be able to obtain, and retain a DoD clearance.
