Summary:

You will work closely with the team to educate our clients on the benefits and uses of their new systems, which they are always so excited to get. You will ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all clients before, during and after initial project. This includes design/programming support & training for new systems and ongoing support after the project completion. Ongoing Support being defined as additional training, DESIs, new equipment quotes and assisting with Telco orders. You will also support other team members as needed on projects.

Working Hours and Conditions:

The job is primarily Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The territory is Northern California with rare travel beyond area. There is occasional after and before hour work, as well as overnight travel, to meet the needs of the customer. You will be provided a nice company vehicle, cell phone, and laptop. You will work with our Dispatcher to set your weekly calendar of the new installations and you will fill in the remaining time with follow up visits to clients for additional training.

You will enjoy making regular visits to all assigned customers. A minimum of one annual visit for regular customers and quarterly touches for Top 100 Clients. Responsibilities include customer retention, education on new product and service offerings and obtaining new system sales leads/referrals for sales department. Ensure customer satisfaction and knowledge of system(s) in place capabilities and operations. Report all service issues/work orders to dispatch center for quick follow up.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Drive a Company Vehicle - If Provided/Clean Driving Record for GTS insurance

Drive for 3-4 hours at a time

Standing or Walking for Periods of Time

Be able to bend, stoop, crawl, lift or turn

Be able to climb stairs

Be able to start early and finish late

Be able to work with a few nights of travel overnight (eureka area or Sacramento mostly)

Have Strong Public Speaking Skills

Have Excellent Written, Verbal and Non-Verbal Communication Skills

Be a self-starter and be able to work with little to no supervision

Maintain proper Business Attire

Organized and Detail Oriented

Ability to obtain product certifications as required for technical knowledge and end user training
