POSITION: Warehouse Specialist (Half Time)
Tech Systems Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for 20 hours per week to perform duties at the Logistics Readiness Center - Redistribution Warehouse/CRP at the Presidio of Monterey.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
As directed, the Warehouse Specialist performs a variety of warehousing duties. Work involves most of the following: verifying materials against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages, routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials, examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage, and removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. This worker will operate hand trucks, forklift trucks and medium trucks in performing warehousing duties. In addition, this worker will receive and issue laundry linens during scheduled times during the week.

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent GED. Have data entry experience and possess a minimum of two years experience in inventory or warehouse activities or a similar profession (i.e. inventory control clerk).
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to pass a background investigation and urinalysis (this position is on a US Military installation). Must be able to work in a team environment with customers, senior personnel and other Department of Defense personnel to complete the assigned tasks. Military experience is desirable. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
