ABOUT:
My name is Yan Stavisski and I am an entrepreneur her in Los Angeles running a Credit/Financial Education/Travel company that educates people on personal/business credit, investing, and traveling the world for free. Social media is a huge part of how we engage with customers, get exposure, and all in all, create amazing content. As of now, I am looking for a SKILLED, creating, hustler-mindset, videographer who is ready to take on a full-time position and join the team to handle all contennt creation across all accounts including Youtube, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
For reference, my two main social media accounts are: @KingCredit on Instagram & TikTok
JOB SUMMARY:
The content creator is responsible for the creation and editing of all video + photo content across social media platforms. With this role, you will work directly with myself and occasionally other members of the marketing/operations team. The ideal candidate is experienced performing all video creation tasks including pre-production, lighting, sound, shooting, and editing. Specific work schedule will be determined later in the application process but remember, this is a position for someone with a hustler mindset and whenever things need to be done, it will be your job to make it happen on short notice. You should not expect this position to be a regular 9-5 schedule!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Using artistic judgement to select appropriate equipment, lighting, angles and backgrounds
- Assisting with staging, set preparation, setting up and operating cameras and other equipment
- Checking recorded material to ensure that it has been captured properly
- Editing videos and inserting text and graphics according to the theme of the video
- Selecting music and editing based on transitions
- Maintaining proper calibration of all equipment and performing regular and preventative maintenance
- Regularly film all video and audio content
- Manage the media for the archive and any future tapings, audio and video
- Edit all full shows, audio and video, as well as social/promo clips
- Edit select YouTube/Instagram videos as well as shorter one-off social videos (i.e. TikToks)
- Be available at short notice, including weekends. ALSO a plus if you have a passport (we may be traveling!)
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 3 years of experience in video and/or media production
- Experience in content creation with images, audio and video content for social media including viral short form video content for social media (IG, YT, TikTok, etc)
- Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, etc.
- Proven work experience editing extensive video and audio content with a strong portfolio
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment on a wide variety of projects
- Ability to perform routine video and audio equipment maintenance
- A positive attitude and loves to work with a team that is changing the world! (CRUCIAL)
