Full time CNC turret punch press operator position is available for a growing manufacturer of data and network cabinets/racks and enclosures located in the Inland Empire, that are sold nationally to wholesale distribution and used in the data and technology industry
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
1-3 years experience in CNC Amada turret punch press set up and operation
Knowledge and prior work experience with reading blueprints/drawings
Knowledge and prior work experience with AMADA punch presses a plus
Basic understanding of sheet metal equipment and processes
Key Responsibilities:
Review work instructions
Identify and locate proper material thickness and gauge.
Set and position tooling into machine.
Set up equipment for accurate material feeds.
Run first piece and verify accuracy.
Operate machine to run production as required.
Check production against sample and/or print using various gages, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Adjust settings as needed.
Perform routine maintenance on all assigned equipment and machinery as required.
