Regional Manager
AWI Management Corp., an Auburn, CA based company is seeking an individual to join our property management team as a Regional Manager. Northern California overnight travel is required. Portfolios range from Northern California, Fresno and Bakersfield areas.
The Regional Manager must have the ability to analyze, implement and monitor operational systems and understand the significant issues affecting property performance. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, be adept at recruiting and training property personnel and demonstrate strong and effective leadership qualities while maintaining fair and consistent employment practices.
The successful candidate will have experience in multi-site residential management with a focus in subsidized/affordable housing programs including RD, HUD and Tax Credit (LIHTC).
Requirements:
Active CA Real Estate License
Valid CA Drivers License
Multi-site experience
Reliable transportation
Experience in managing subsidized/affordable housing
Understanding of RD, HUD, LIHTC, Bond programs.
Qualifications:
Dynamic leader
Excellent verbal and writing skills with the ability to communicate well and interface with senior management as well as owners, asset managers and vendors
Computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong supervisor skills with the ability to motivate and support on-site staff
Ability to work independently, a "decision maker", yet function in a corporate organizational structure
Policy, Procedure, Goal and Result driven.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of government regulations and agency rules that pertain to properties managed.
Hire, manage, coach and counsel site personnel
Routine visits to sites ensure office procedures are organized ,tenant files are in compliance, maintenance needs are being met, curb appeal is superb
Assist in marketing and rent-up of new sites
Review of budgets and financial analysis
