About US:

Lee & Company Contractors is a young-minded residential construction firm located in San Francisco. Along with this we are pursuing an opportunity to expand our business into development & property management within Placer and Nevada County. We are a very small group of precision minded individuals who seek excellence in our work & customer service.

About the Position:

We are looking to hire a part-time bookkeeper / office admin to keep our books tight along with light office management work. We have the opportunity for the right person to work remotely but some of the job will need to be in person so we imagine this would include one in-office day a week (and this may vary). This collaborative team player will take charge of our finance and office operations, think on their feet, ask questions, and work together with the rest of the team to complete their job.

The TASKS:

Accounting/Finance:

-Management of financial data through timely entry to appropriate accounts in Quickbooks

-Maintain health of AP Turnover Days Ratio by processing expense documents such as invoices, employee reimbursements for payment

-Maintain health of AR Aging by sending out invoices to clients biweekly and follow up with any outstanding receivables

-Complete all bank transactions including statement review, deposits and reconciliations

-Complete monthly, quarterly and yearly strategic financial closing reports

-File and maintain organization of company's files including business expenses, projects costs, and contracts

-Track Vendors, Subcontractors Insurance and Workers Comp

Office Management:

-Answer phones and manage leads that come in via email & phone.

-Keep stock of office supplies, manage office cleaner, and support our in-office staff once COVID 19 is not an issue.

-Manage incoming and outgoing mail

HR

-Process payroll via our 3rd party payroll company and Quickbooks

-File, maintain and ensure all employee files are in compliance

The MUSTS:

-Earned or in pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree (Business Management - Accounting & Finance focus preferred)

-Highly comfortable with Quickbooks, Microsoft Office, & Google Work

-Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to manage a variety of tasks

-High level of initiative, a 'can do' attitude, and boundless amounts of positive energy

-Resourceful problem solver (able to identify problems and seek solutions autonomously)

-Ability to manage projects deadlines through strong time management skills

-Impeccable and concise communication and presentation skills; verbal and written

-Must be able to organize documents in a systematic and traceable manner

-High level of comfort working with numbers

-Must have own vehicle and valid license

The PLUSES:

-1+ year of recent experience in a similar role

-An interest in pursuing a career in finance or business management

-Bi-lingual

-Experience with BuilderTrend

The FULL-Time Option:

-While the job listed above is only a part-time position, we would love this person to take on estimating potential jobs as well. Estimating and bookkeeping are very similar, and we will train you for this position, should you want full-time work.
