Apartment complex in Bakersfield seeking full time, experienced apartment manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet prospective residents.
Collect monthly rent and fees
Daily inspection of rent ready apartments and common areas.
Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call accordingly.
Maintain a strong closing ratio and assist in the timely processing of rental applications.
Contribute ideas for marketing the property and for improving resident satisfaction and retention.
Correctly complete lease applications, verifications, and notify prospective residents of results.
Prepare and execute lease paperwork and move in inspections.
Enter invoices and payments in QuickBooks.
Receive and resolve tenant complaints.
Prepare move out statements.
Office functions such as filing, etc.
Assist in initiating work orders and follow-through for completion.
Receive and resolve after hour emergencies.
Be knowledgeable and able to assist on scheduling preparation of units for occupancy.
Maintain awareness of current local market conditions and trends.
Complete pre-move out and move out inspections.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a community manager of 100+ units.
Computer skills; experience with QuickBooks software a plus.

AVAILABILITY: Must be available on select Saturdays and holidays.
