Answer questions for internal and external customers about their loans, processes and documentation

Maintain an effective working relationship with all departments and third party vendors, attorneys, insurance companies, and credit bureau agencies

Perform loan maintenance as requested

Perform all aspects of escrow processing to include payments, analysis, etc

Process direct credit disputes and disputes received via e-Oscar

Monitor loans statements and insert necessary disclosures

Review loan payments to verify accurate posting

Ensure that post-closing collateral exceptions are resolved within the standard timing set by Bank management and policy

May present recommendations to management and exhibits a deep understanding of consumer credit

Adheres to loan policies and procedures with complete documented files to ensure satisfactory reviews from internal and external audits

Ability to meet individual goals and contribute in a team oriented environment to ensure departmental and Bank wide goals are met. Sets and achieves challenging goals without direct supervision and contributes to a positive team spirit

Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence and/or journals or government regulations

Ability to write correspondence and articulate process/procedure changes

Ability to make timely decisions with minimal supervision

Detail oriented, define & solve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or its equivalent is required

Bachelor’s Degree or previous banking experience (Preferred)
