Summary/Objective
This position is responsible to oversee daily plant operations in the moving, processing, and shipping of recyclable materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential Functions

1. Manages daily plant operations and ensures compliance with all safety practices.
2. Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance with policies and procedures.
3. Supervises productions staff and coordinates workflow and assignments to achieve operational goals.
4. Oversees operations personnel needs including coaching, training, and promotion decisions.
5. Investigates, reviews, and controls implementation of safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
6. Submits daily, weekly, and month end reports to the General Manager.
7. Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises plant production personnel.
Work Environment
This role requires working in the elements, in the plant yard, exposed to dust and debris. Frequently operates forklifts, and skid steers.

The employee is frequently required to climb; balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 200 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
Regular attendance is necessary. Hours for this position vary with production demands.
Travel
Occasional local travel may be required.
Required Education and Experience
1. High School Diploma
2. English speaking.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bi-lingual speaking is preferred.
