Job Description
Actionpaq Corporation is currently looking for a mechanical assembler to fill our growth need. The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate good manual dexterity and is detail-oriented.
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
-Read, interpret, and follow diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
-Perform repair work on defective products
-Lay out, drill and tap holes as needed
-Make minor modifications to machined parts as needed
-Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, workstations, and storage areas to ensure compliance with procedures, rules, and safety regulations.
-Promote and execute quality standards, inspection processes
-Come up with and implement solutions to situations not just state the problems
-Willing to take on additional tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Must be able to walk, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time
-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
-Organized and detail oriented
-Be dependable and punctual and willing to work extra if required
-Be a self-starter, able to take a project and work with minimal supervision
-Have own hand tools
-Be able to use basic measuring tools, Calipers, Micrometers etc.
-Have general knowledge of assembly terminology and tasks
-Have a good understanding of best practice assembly processes
-Milling machine, Lathe and or welding experience is a plus
-High school graduate or equivalent.
-Have a positive, can do attitude
