We are currently seeking an HVAC/Lighting Application Engineer/Designer, located in our Bentonville, AR facility.Honeywell is a Fortune 100 company and has more than 130,000 employees in 120 countries around the world and has a demonstrated heritage of innovation and achievement.Home & Building Technologies (HBT) is a strategic business unit (SBU) providing integrated product solutions in heating and heating processes, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration, air purification, zoning, humidification, air conditioning, water controls and processes, electrical devices and systems, lighting control, switches, sensors and controllers. Our technologies are found in more than 150 million homes, 10 million buildings, and a multitude of manufacturing plants around the world. Customers include original equipment manufacturers, commercial, homeowners, contractors, retail, trade building managers, consulting engineers and distributors.The HVAC/Lighting Application Engineer/Designer will be responsible for the design and support of Novar building HVAC and lighting automation systems, as well as the development of procedures used in the installation, commissioning, and documentation of controls projects. System configuration in proprietary control software is the largest portion of the job. Troubleshooting techniques and issue resolution working with internal and external customers, are also important parts of the position.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:· Develop site-specific control strategies and design drawings to meet project requirements.· Interface with the End Users, Sales, and Engineers of Record to assist in project definition, and issue resolution.· Read and interpret building plans and control diagrams.· Technical support of sales and field personnel regarding design and operation of systems and components.· Design and configuration of control system software.· Project follow-up documentation and data trackingYOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial, or 2-year Associates degree with 1-year applicable field experience, or High School Diploma/GED and 3 years industry experience.

2 years experience installing or supporting commercial HVAC or Lighting control systems.

2 years working experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Access, Outlook and Word.

WE VALUE:

Working knowledge of industry-standard construction and control practices and methods.

Comfortable with detailed repetitive work, with emphasis on detail.

Familiar with HVAC & lighting systems operations, including chiller/boiler systems.

Understanding of electrical control logic and programable logic controllers (PLC).

Intermediate computer skills with some programming experience.

Proficient in verbal and written communication skills with customers and peers.

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Working experience with AutoCAD or Visio a plus.

Ability to perform under pressure and work overtime in peak demand seasons.

Multi-lingual a plus, but not a requirement
