Nuanced Media is looking for a highly experienced consumer product and e-commerce photography expert. We are looking for a talented commercial photographer who is creative, experienced, and worked with a broad variety of clients and/or product categories, has stellar attention to detail and can produce images that are ready for use on web platforms ranging from Amazon product pages to display, video and banner ad creatives We are specifically looking for photographers with a portfolio of finished e-commerce photography. A portfolio of past work for consumer product brands or clients in both studio environments and location work is required
We would like to start out by establishing a relationship via some trial projects and then grow the relationship as we build trust and our process.
We are looking for a long term partnership which will provide consistent ongoing work.
The work will include the following tasks:
Collaboration on project scope, creative briefs and creative direction during pre-production and budgeting
Thorough project management of photography shoots that are accurate to creative briefs. Generate outstanding, appealing core photographic assets.
Post-production tasks including but not limited to camera raw file processing, color correction, styling and alpha channel masking
Studio photography of product photos (on white backgrounds, specifically), product photos with creative props/sets, on-location lifestyle product photography, and product photography using models.
The following skills are a must:
Extraordinary attention to detail regarding product/subject appearance
Independent ownership and operation of a modern, high resolution DSLR or mirrorless camera and a digital photography post-production workflow
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of photography studio equipment including lighting, backdrops, camera mounts, etc.
Expertise, creativity and adaptability to execute product photography for any type of product, and ability to produce appealing images for a wide range of product types, from grocery to clothing to electronics
Great communication skills via phone, email, and chat
Strong knowledge of Google Docs and Google Calendar
Great documentation skills, ability to follow an established process and provide feedback, if necessary
The following skills are not required but will be considered
Intermediate photo editing skills including photo manipulation and rudimentary graphic design skills are a plus
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is recommended for collaboration with internal design teams
Experience casting, coordinating and directing models/actors is a plus
Experience in a management role of a photo studio and strategic acquisition of studio or photography equipment is a plus.
Expertise with location scouting, set dressing, location rental and on-location photography, specifically for e-commerce lifestyle photography, is a plus.
Must be working proximity to the Tucson, AZ.
