Job DescriptionBAE Systems is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team of professionals as the Compass Call Logistics Support Manager. The Logistics Support Manager will support the CLS organization operating on Davis-Monthan AFB and provide insight to the CLS Site Manager and the Compass Call team.The Logistics Support Manager will be the technical liaison for Compass Call Technical Publications updates and problem resolutions andsupport the CLS logistics organization operating on Davis-Monthan AFB.The candidate will also work with End users and Logistics personnel to provide feedback on delivered products and recommend solutions to meet the customer s needs.Additional responsibilities include the following:Ensures all day-to-day Logistics reports are thorough and concise and deliverables are completed and submitted on time.Interface with customers and represent the Company in all matters associated with the customer requirements.Support the CC CLS Site Manager to determine logistics personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads.Support the CC CLS Site Manager with the work schedule and travel for the CLS organization
Provide support to the Technical Order Management Agency for Technical Publications and Time Compliance Technical Orders
Provide input and support to T.O. In Process Reviews
The Support Section may include the following elements/functions to support flightline maintenance activities; support (CTKs/special tools, eTools, test equipment, TOs, bench stock), -21 equipment, AME, mobility equipment and DMS. Support Sections must standardize procedures for security, control, and accountability of equipment. Ensures all day-to-day Logistics reports are complete and deliverables are thorough, concise and timely. Represent the Company in all matters associated with the Logistics Department.Support the CC CLS Site Manager to determine CLS personnel requirements based on present and projected workloads. Support the CC CLS Site Manager with the work schedule and travel for the CLS organization. Will develop local procedures to control and store other equipment not identified as -21 equipment (such as, aircraft pylon attachment cover panels, aircraft covers/plugs).Ensure proper calibration, use, care, handling and transportation of TMDE IAW TO 00-20-14, AFMAN 21-113, and applicable Calibration Measurement Summaries. Maintain and manage squadron Land Mobile Radio (LMR) with base Communications Squadron.Monitor the status of critical support equipment and testers for serviceability, accountability and status of TCTO modifications. Support Section will provide monthly critical support equipment status update to Site Manager and Operations Manager. Maintain tools/CTKs in accordance with the Repair Station Manual.Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship statusRequired Skills and EducationCandidates must ensure that resume addresses all stated requirements of the posted requisition. Only resumes that specifically include all required skills/experience/education will be considered.Active Secret Security Clearance.Eligible to obtain a DoD TS/SCI security clearance, within a reasonable amount of time, determined by business need (US Citizenship required)Experience managing DoD Logistics operations.Have experience with US Air Force logistics, flight and maintenance operations.Be experienced in dealing with on-site customer representatives.
