Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for a Bilingual Child Welfare Clinical Team Lead in Pima County!Child Welfare Clinical Team Lead is the perfect position for a determined, experienced paraprofessional, caregiver, social worker or behavioral health professional looking for an exciting and rewarding career opportunity. This position works in collaboration with the AZ Department of Child Safety to provide in-home and community family preservation tailored to keeping children and families together. We specialize in partnering with families to build effective relationships and to inspire hope for a positive future.

Functioning as the family's primary point of contact and providing comprehensive care. This includes creating support plans and assessments, providing counseling and other services, and measuring progress and outcomes of services provided to increase family protective capacities to promote the safety of the children and maintain their placement in their home. (action oriented)

Coaching families in communication to foster positive family relations. (individually tailored)

Providing support in developing helpful parenting skills, stress management and other types of training to family members, including role-modeling techniques and practices. (relationship focused)

Providing education for parents on how to access emergency assistance, supports, and community resources. (community and culturally connected)

Assisting families with goal setting, planning, and other activities related to home management tasks.

Documenting all services appropriately. (count on me teammate)

Performing other duties related to the Case Aide position.

Represents a CFSS Core CompetencyThis position requires afternoon, evening, and weekend work. Flexibility in scheduling, willingness to drive to throughout the county and willingness to work within the homes and communities of the families we support is required.Keywords: child welfare, team lead, counselor, care coordinator, case manager, behavioral health, mental health, social work, family supportRequirements:

Team Leads must be 21 years or older.

Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years related work experience or Master's degree required.

Reliable transportation is required, including proof of insurance, a vehicle safety check and an acceptable driving record.

Bilingual a plus!

An acceptable five (5) year driving record.

Candidates are required to submit a negative substance abuse test, be able to obtain fingerprint and criminal history background clearance, and clear the Central Registry Check Reports of child abuse and neglect. CPR, First Aid, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention are required trainings that are provided by the agency.
