We are a Commercial Electrical Contractor who has been in business locally for 15 years. The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for directing and supervising activities related to the planning and monitoring of commercial ad industrial projects, from inception to completion. Lead and conduct value engineering studies of alternative design. Estimating of commercial projects, gathering vendor quotes through proficient take off from plans.
The ideal candidate will have 10 or more years of progressively responsible experience in the electrical industry.
Skills/Functions
Advanced technical knowledge of design, construction and operation of electrical systems.
Basic familiarity with Conest Estimating Software. Proficient use with Microsoft Excel, word, and email.
Interaction at all levels from owners and designers to the field personnel, requires a broad level of communication skills both written and spoken including technical writing skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet deadlines.
Interpret plans, specifications, drawings and documents related to engineering and construction.
Interact closely with internal teams to ensure that project needs and objectives are met.
Auto CAD experience helpful
Main work location will be in an office environment but may include site visits. These may include working outdoors with exposure to heat and cold, uneven ground, dust, working around moving machinery, wearing of PPE
