ConformaTech is a Tucson-based construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering firm. We are currently looking for a motivated individual seeking a career in the construction quality control industry. This will be an entry level candidate who is willing to learn and has the ability to obtain certifications through a written and performance testing process. All training and testing costs will be paid by the company.
No previous experience is required.
Duties include the on-site collection and testing of construction materials, such as concrete, asphalt and soil, from various construction sites throughout southern Arizona. The ideal candidate enjoys working outside and would be comfortable on construction sites. Rapid pay increases are possible to those individuals who excel.
Other Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 21 years of age,
High School graduate or GED equivalent,
Valid Arizona driver’s license,
Clean Driving Record (no DUI for 5 years, no more than two moving violations in last 3 years),
Pass ten panel drug test prior to employment,
Reliable transportation needed to/from office,
Good basic math skills,
Excellent record keeping skills,
Willing to work nights, weekends and overtime,
Reliable and punctual,
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with little supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Following a probationary period, ConformaTech offers three weeks of paid vacation a year, paid holidays and health and dental insurance.
