We are a busy medical practice looking for a full time medical assistant to work directly with our orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants and nurse practitioner. Please see list of requirements below and email if qualified.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and unsupervised maintaining a superior work ethic.
Previous experience calling insurance companies for patients to obtain benefits and precertification.
Previous experience in medical office setting preferred.
Previous experience in customer service
Good oral communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to prioritize and multi-task
Great team player with a positive attitude
Medical terminology
Previous experience in the rooming process of patients
Taking vitals on patients
Previous experience in medical office procedure preferred.
Previous experience in EMR systems preferred
