Busy Landscaping company looking for an Irrigation Technician for both our installation and maintenance departments.
This position will perform installation and maintenance of irrigation systems up to and including sprinklers, water lines, valves, backflow valves, controllers, and other various irrigation equipment.
Must have problem solving skills in order to identify issues and implement solutions. Also, must be able to work with shovels and skidsteers.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Identify and repair irrigation system defects
- Maintain daily record of activities and expenses
- Inventory irrigation parts and supplies
- Train maintenance employees in irrigation processes
- Assist in reading water meters and documenting water usage
- Assist in winterizing and spring start-ups of irrigation systems
Irrigation experience and a valid Drivers license is required for this position.
This is a full-time position and does offer overtime when needed. Must be willing to work in other areas as needed during the off-season.
