Job Duties
Operate the company vehicle with, and without, the trailer;
Assist with delivery of inventory from other dealers or distribution;
Maintain inventory of charged motorcycle batteries;
Re-fill stock of oil, electrolyte material, or other supplies, as needed;
After service is complete detail and refuel vehicles to prepare for the next stage;
Communicate vehicle status to Service Advisors, or Service Managers, upon completion;
Use appropriate equipment to clean and maintain the shop area, and facility;
Support, promote, and get involved in the Help Sell, and Motorcycle Referral, programs;
Act as an Ambassador for the dealership, and the Harley-Davidson brand.
Job Specifications
Physical and Mental Demands:
Frequently moves motorcycles weighing greater than 500 lbs.
Frequently loads and unloads vehicles being delivered;
Occasionally work more than 8-hours per day, and on the weekends;
Occasionally move or transport objects that weigh > 50 lbs.
Occasionally operate hand-held, and other machinery or equipment.
Working Conditions:
Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and other toxic chemicals.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma, or equivalent;
Maintain a valid driver license. Motorcycle endorsement preferred, and clean driving record.
