Looking for a new IT challenge, taking a IT project and making it your own. We are currently looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to oversee new software implementation. You will be involved in all aspects of the project from configuration to deployment.
Additional you will be part of the small IT team to develop solutions and provide support.
Responsibilities:
Advanced troubleshooting ability is a must
Ability to Manage time Ability to track tickets from beginning to completion
Ability to handle multiple issues and track multiple problems at the same time
Inbound tickets from customers and work on them
Inbound Escalations directly from the manager
Excellent Problem-Solving skills, ability to think on their feet o Mentor and provide technical guidance in order to problem solve o
Confidently display problem solving techniques
Work with customers via phone, remote meeting sessions, ticket system
Reproduction of customer environments on lab equipment
Excellent Communication skills (spoken and written)
Required Skills:
2+ years of experience in the networking or security field is a must
Exceptional customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
Windows (administrative level), Windows Server
Exchange
Practical Hands-on knowledge of protocols and applications and ability to debug
RPC, TCP, UDP, SMTP, SNMP, WMI, RDP, SSH, TLS, SSL, HTTP, HTTPS, Proxy, IPS, ISA, NFS, SAN, NAS, etc.
Also prefer candidates with scripting experience for Java Scripts
MS-SQL Language and Concepts
Education:
BS degree or equivalent certification in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems
