Legal Secretary/Receptionist

Scottsdale (Old Town area) Law Firm - Scottsdale, AZ

Rack Law Group is a Personal Injury law firm located in Old Town Scottsdale. The firm focuses on car accident, slip and fall, and wrongful death cases, and is seeking a full-time legal secretary.

Compensation:

$25,000-$30,000, based on experience and qualifications

Qualifications, Responsibilities, Skills/Requirements:

In order to adequately perform the tasks requested, this position will require the candidate to possess the following qualifications, responsibilities, and skills/requirements:

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience at a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm

Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required)

Extremely proficient in handling the below Responsibilities

Possess the below Skills/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Answer telephone calls from existing and prospective clients

Sort, distribute, and scan mail, incoming faxes, and documents related to a client's case

Assist paralegal(s) and legal assistant(s) with clerical work and filing

Set up files for new clients

Open new claims with insurance companies

Thoroughly organize and index client files and documents

Skills/Requirements:

Excellent organization skills, with a high attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Strong ability to simultaneously work on multiple tasks, with ability to function in a fast pace, independent work environment

Strong time management skills

Effective planning and execution ability
