General Service Technician for a busy shop

Arizona, Phoenix 00000 Phoenix USA

Vacancy caducado!

Performance Automotive and Tire Center is now hiring a full time General Service Tech. This includes oil changes, fluid flushes, tire mounting/balancing, brake repair, and so on. Prior, hands on experience in servicing all makes of cars and light trucks is preferred. But, we will consider an entry level candidate if you can demonstrate the mechanical aptitude from doing other things. We've trained multiple technicians from scratch.

This business is family owned and operated, and we are right here and easy to deal with. No corporate nonsense allowed. We are very busy, and growing and need more help to handle the workload. We are looking for a self motivated, team player displaying a professional appearance, great personality, friendly POSITIVE attitude and strong work ethics. Must take pride in their work and must be willing to tackle any job given.

A.S.E. certifications not required, but preferred for the GS Tech role. We encourage all of our technicians to add to their capabilities and certifications. We have a plan in place to cover the testing costs as certifications are completed.

We have diagnostic tools available via AllData, Identifix, and Pro Demand. We use state of the art shop software from Mitchell and Bolt-on. Each tech is issued a tablet for diagnostics, shop workflow, and doing state of the art digital inspections. We are way ahead of the curve on applied technology. The owner is a retired automotive industry engineer and tech geek, so only the best technology tools. Valid driver's license and clean driving record a must. Must have own hand tools, box and reliable transportation.

We pay above current market wages, but only for the best people who do quality work the first time.

Please email your resume via CL relay for consideration. To make sure you are not a spam bot, Nigerian scammer, or other auto-responding troll, and to ensure that you read this ad thoroughly, all the way to the end, not missing any important details, you need to make the subject line of your email reply "Hey! I'm the best technician candidate because . . ." Impress me. Clear concise brevity goes a long way. I'm the owner. This is my business, and I want to know why you would be a total rock star in this role! (Feel free to further expound in your cover letter.)
