Wells Fargo Technology plays a critical role in the company’s customer and employee experience, business and risk management transformation, and growth agenda.The key deliverable of the Service Operations Manager (SOM) is to provide overall ownership and accountability for the delivery of production services for a set of applications within the SWIFT and Shared Services Portfolio. This is a matured leadership role and requires matrix management experience. Escalation point and day to day management of support teams. Accountable for the effective delivery of the application support work load through services delivered by the Platform team. Single point of contact for all services consumed outside of the Platform team. Lead vulnerability remediation with a sense of urgency. Ensure Operational risks to the service are actively managed through the risk systems. As a Service owner, provide an interface into compliance/risk teams and accountable for ensuring delivery of compliance work on behalf of the application team. Drive continuous improvement work with the Platform teams and coordinate with the Infrastructure teams to drive improvements to stability, client delight and operational excellence. Management contact for all incidents, problems, changes related issues in production. Develop and lead a team of Platform engineers. Required Qualifications:5+ years of systems support analysis experience
3+ years of solution consulting experience in a technology environment
3+ years of leadership or management experience, in a technology environment
5 + years of implementing and supporting SWIFT services such as SWIFTNet, FIN, Interact or Fileact
5 + years of Java Web Services experience
3 + years of experience in Oracle Fusion platform design and development
Desired Qualifications:Knowledge and understanding of Weblogic
Knowledge and understanding of WebSphere
Knowledge and understanding of system monitoring and high availability architectures, at an enterprise level
5+ years of Oracle experience
5+ years of Java experience
SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
1+ year of experience with in-memory databases such as Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
