Auto Parts Counter Sales:
The primary job responsibility of the Auto Parts Counter Sales Position, is to service and assist various customers in a friendly and efficient manner and to maintain an organized facility. All incoming items must be physically placed in the designated location within the facility and properly accounted for in the computer system.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The following represents the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
1. The Auto Parts Counter Sales person opens the office for business - turns on machines, computers, lights, etc.
2. The Auto Parts Counter Sales person will be responsible for stocking and filling displays.
3. The #1 priority for Auto Parts Counter Sales is customer service, must be able to assist customers in a courteous and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be required to continuously educate him/herself on product, application and equipment.
4. The Auto Parts Counter Sales person will be responsible for maintaining a clean and neat sales area.
5. The Auto Parts Counter Sales person will be responsible for checking freight lines to insure proper pick up and making sure the billing has been signed.
6. The Auto Parts Counter Sales person will be responsible for lock up; check doors, lights, etc.
General Duties
Load and unload freight trucks
Check in all freight
Organize and stock freight efficiently
Rotate freight
Pull call orders
Pull delivery orders
Ship phone in orders
Check back orders
Qualified candidates must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screening and background check.
