I am purchasing a 25 Bed Motel in Parker Arizona (position to start 6/15/2020) . The Motel needs significant upgrades and a future full time manager / operator. See below for specifics on position(s) :
The Motel has a comfortable 2 bedroom house and it is located less than a 1/2 mile to the Colorado River and 30 miles to Lake Havasu.
What I am searching for:
1) "Manager for Operations" A couple would be fantastic as they could team up and help run both aspects of this operation from Housekeeping to Maintenance. However, a couple is not required. The Manger of operations would reside on site in a comfortable two bedroom home (front right in picture).
2) "Skilled Trade" : I would like to interview tradesman to come to this hotel for a few weeks to help with the Rehab. Drywall replacement, laying tile or Vinyl flooring, plumbing - replacing vanities and misc. plumbing fixtures, etc Please send Daily Rate expectations for working. A room will be provided for overnight stay.
Please explain in your response if you are applying for the "Manager of Operations" or "Skilled Trade" or "BOTH".
Tell me a little about how you can help with this new venture. Are you good at Customer Service? Computer Skills, Do you have a clean record (no felonies please, and a drug test will be required for Manager of Operations), have you ever worked for a Hotel, Apartment complex, or similar trade that can make your previous work experience help our growth.
Compensation for an "Manager of Operation" would be reasonable based on housing benefits, bonuses for occupancy, positive reviews from clients for customer service, and growth, and a small salary.
Compensation for a "Skilled Trade" would be a Daily Rate based on a 5 day work week at 8 hours a day for a few months - but minimum 3 weeks. The tradesman can stay on site overnight if needed at no cost.
Payment for services will be 1099 (check), having your reliable own car/truck is important. References and history would be expected.
