We are a small art gallery called "Carré d'artistes" nestled in the heart of the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village in Sedona. The company is based in Aix en Provence but our gallery in Sedona is part of a network of similar galleries with locations all over the world. As the galleries' network expands it affords opportunities for advancement, transfer, and promotion for exceptional employees.
Currently in Sedona we are looking for an energetic and positive individual, preferably with sales experience, but we will train those without if they are a candidate with true potential. The ideal candidate is positive, intelligent, charismatic, an effective communicator, and most importantly has a contagious love of art. The job requires active engagement with a diverse public. The majority of the day we are actively engaged with guests on the floor. We have a lot of fun meeting people from all over the world and communicating our genuine love for art. We work as a close team of three or four in the gallery, assisting each other to achieve monthly sales goals as a group. We are considering candidates for both part (24 hours or less) and full time (32hours) Must be available to work on weekends since these are our busiest times in the gallery.
Responsibilities and Duties include:
Active Sales
Data Entry
Inventory
Gallery maintenance/cleaning
Matting of artwork
Assisting Gallery Manager with special events (once they become possible)
Communicating with artists
Curation of artwork displays
