Marketing Assistant
Our retreat center in Sedona is seeking a full-time marketing assistant. This is a temporary 2 or 3-month position with a potential for long-term employment. If hired, you will have an option to stay at the retreat center.
Duties
Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
Support marketing manager in organizing various projects
Conduct market research
Assist with developing and implementing marketing strategies
Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information
Assist in the organizing of promotional events - traditional or digital campaigns - and attend them to facilitate their success
Create and manage the production of marketing collateral
Compose and post online content on the company’s social media accounts
Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred
1+ years of experience in marketing
Proven experience as a marketing assistant
Good understanding of office management and marketing principles
Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
Good knowledge of market research techniques and databases
Excellent knowledge of Google Applications - Docs, Sheets, Gmail
Knowledge of Google Adwords and Google Analytics a plus
Exquisite communication and people skills
Strong written skills
Attention to detail
Knowledge of relevant marketing tools and application is a plus
Note: Our Retreat Center is located down an 11 mile unpaved, dirt road.
