Weatherization Tech/Carpenter wanted
Growing home energy retrofit company looking to hire an insulation laborer/ weatherization technician/ carpenter. We are a company that is dedicated to reducing the worlds energy demand through sustainable energy efficiency improvements to homes. Ideal candidate is drug free, self-motivated, has strong customer service skills and takes pride in their work. Experience doing energy retrofits, insulation, HVAC work and/or carpentry is a plus. Reliable transportation is a must. Position would involve up to 50% of work in attics and crawlspace which can be hot, dusty and uncomfortable. Candidate must be hard working and OK with working in tight spaces. Work involves air sealing, duct sealing, insulation work etc. Although experience in the industry is preferred, we may consider training the right person. Compensation starts at $14-18/hr depending on experience. This is a part time position around 10-15 hours/week with most work between 8 AM and 4 PM Monday - Friday. This position could potentially turn into a full time position depending on how busy we are.
