About the Job
The Cook works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and is responsible for the safe and timely preparation of food in accordance with the established facility menu. The Cook shall prepare the food in a sanitary and safe manner in accordance with food safety standards along with federal and state guidelines as it pertains to food preparation. The cook is also responsible for the preparation of appetizing food that adheres to the dietary budget.
