It all begins with you.Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company’s financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company’s shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.The Customer Remediation (CR) Center of Excellence (COE) Data Analytics Auto team provides data to support remediations for harmed customers from the auto lending portfolio. The team works closely with auto lending subject matter experts, remediation leads, data quality experts, and other team members. The team is passionate about providing the best quality data possible to best remediate harmed customers.The team is serious about all of the things that should be taken seriously when remediating harmed customers, such as finding all of the customer harm and ensuring that every single customer is remediated accurately to the last penny.As an Analytic Consultant, you will dig deep into the auto lending data sources and find the customer harm. You will write documentation, query data, and provide final data populations which support specific customer remediations.The role is a great opportunity for someone who understands the big picture of how auto lending works and who also is capable of detailed analysis of individual data fields.The ideal Analytic Consultant is the following:

Passionate about Data Analytics

Has experience making complex ideas understandable to a diverse audience

Has technical experience that includes data analytics tools and writing queries in SQL

Creative in solving problems, especially thinking outside-the-box for solutions

Able to dig for information to get answers to questions that nobody else could answer

Has the flexibility to follow team procedures, yet also has the courage to suggest improvements

Is an excellent juggler, especially if you can keep cool under pressure while multi-tasking

Enjoys working closely as part of a team and has the people skills to do that well

Can accept feedback without taking it personally (knows when and when not to push back)

Has experience with the systems and tools used in the team to support customer remediations, such as: AFS; Auto Data Warehouse; Brickyard; CARS; ECaR; EXS; iTop; SAS Enterprise Guide; SHAW; and Toad for Oracle.

Required Qualifications:

6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

4+ years of SQL experience

4+ years of data analysis experience

Desired Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
