Contribute to providing a safe and comfortable place for patients who are awaiting delivery or other hospital services by maintaining.and.nbsp; an inviting and healthy environment. Plan, coordinate and monitor on-going activities for Patient Hostel / Pre-Maternal Home guests that offer education regarding a healthy work and life balances. Assist in coordinating patient lodging assignments.Uphold the organization s vision, mission, and corporate valuesand.nbsp; Demonstrate understanding of and compliance with organization s policies, procedures, code of conduct and work rules.Essential Functions:Design programs to encourage socialization, provide entertainment, relaxation, and fulfillment, and improve daily living skills. These programs will have an emphasis on providing education regarding healthy work/life balances.Refer guests to services they may need, and offer supportive interventions as needed.Plan evening activities for seven days a week, offering a variety of activities and outings, including assisting with the purchasing of guest groceries and meal preparation for guests as an Activity.Assist with the assignment of lodging for guests.Assist with the distribution of meals for guests. Assist guests with transportation needs.Offer instructions to other staff as to how activities are to happen when the activity occurs during off-hours.Assist Patient Hostel Attendants as required, by admitting guests, performing light housekeeping, etc.Perform other duties as assigned.
