Job Title: Pickup and Delivery Driver
Department: Operations/Production
Reports to: Production Supervisor & Plant Manager
Location: 51607 Fish St. Nikiski, Alaska 99635
Starting Wage: $15 - $20/hr (Depending on license, experience, with OT available)
Schedule: Seasonal: June - Sep. Shift schedule 100% dependent on fishing. When the fish show up, we have to pick them up asap. Can be days, nights, weekends, or a combination.

The Nikiski plant is designed to process 100% of the anticipated byproduct from local, sustainable, marine harvests into nutraceutical grade oil, and dehydrated products rich in protein and other vital, natural nutrients. Current Suppliers include every major commercial seafood processor in Kenai and Kasilof.
Job Purpose:
Provide our suppliers with great service by picking up and delivering totes of seafood by-product between their plants and ours.
Position Responsibilities May Include (We will provide on-the-job training):
Transporting seafood and empty totes to, and from the processing plant.
Dynamically self-dispatch to maximize driving efficiency based on information provided by the Plant Manager, and assed at pick up locations.
Inspect vehicles and totes for safety issues or other defects and malfunctions
Document trip and load information on all applicable forms
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have a valid class B/A CDL and medical card
Must have valid proof of authorization to work in the United Stated, by completing and submitting form I-9 with the necessary documentation.
Must be able to understand and speak basic English.
Must be able to perform repetitive work, stand, bend, twist and constantly work with your hands.
Must be able to work very long hours (up to 12 hours a day, 7 days a week).
Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) and carry materials from one point to another.
Must be able to work well in close proximity with others
