Customer Service, Plant Production, and Retail Staff
Customer Service Position Includes (but not limited to):
Answer calls
Become well versed in the Great Alaska Seafood product line
Familiarize yourself with the company website and its navigation
Provide customers with product and service information
Enter new customer information into system
Review and update existing customer information while taking orders
Identify and escalate priority issues
Take messages for colleagues and supervisors
Follow up with customer calls as necessary
Verify and highlight Order Log and ship out of ordering system
Complete miscellaneous projects assigned by supervisors
Willingness to assist with physical job necessities in the Plant
Tidy office daily. (e.g., empty trash, vacuum, mop, etc.)
Plant Production Position Includes (but not limited to):
Operates vacuum packer machines, plant clean up, package seafood, sticker products, gel packs, clean-up crew, freezer/inventory organization, handles seafood (shellfish), fish sorting, etc.
Retail Position (but not limited to):
Opening/Closing retail store
checking till for change needed
Restocking product
Checking Voicemail
Having knowledge of seafood products sold in retail
Offering smoked samples to encourage smoked product purchases
Being familiar with local area preferred
Checking in fish for processing - You would handle fish!
Computer/Data Entry Attention to detail
Updating existing profiles for processing customers
Scheduling plant pick-ups and ship outs
Packing boxes for pick-up and ship-outs
Ensure pick-ups and ship outs for next day are complete
Logged, Packed, Charged, and labeled
Operating Software
Maintain clean work area
Sanitizing retail counter/surfaces
Sweeping/mopping floor
Dusting non-perishable shelves
Sanitizing check in area (Scales, Sink)
Must be: Team Player, positive attitude, dependable, reliable transportation, high energy, and willingness to help where necessary, and maintain a clean and sober work environment. Hours and shifts will vary for each department. Salary will range depending on experience.
