First National Bank Alaska is seeking a Customer Service Rep for our Kodiak Branch. The CSR is responsible for opens all types of new accounts, cross sells basic banking products and services, and responds to customer requests, ensuring compliance with established bank procedures and regulatory requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides excellent service to branch customers; opens new accounts, sells basic bank products and services, and makes referrals and cross sells the products and services of other areas of the bank.

2. Assists customers with account reconciliation, responds to account related questions, and performs research.

3. Processes stop payments and lost/stolen items on checking and saving accounts.

4. Closes accounts upon customer's request or as directed by supervisor, updates customer information, and prepares and mails customer correspondence.

5. Maintains awareness of bank and Federal policies, procedures, and/or regulations and keeps up-to-date on required training.

6. May process incoming and outgoing collections, wires and phone transfers, and requests for transfers between accounts. May act as Vault Teller and/or Safe Deposit Attendant.

7. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Eighteen months banking experience including six months Teller experience; or two years customer service experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

Preferred: Familiarity with FNBA products and procedures; sales experience.
