First National Bank Alaska, FNBA, is immediately seeking a Loan Secretary in our Cordova Branch. This position will assist a lending officer servicing a loan portfolio of less than $15M.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Provides office management and secretarial services for one lending officer.

2.Distributes applications; compiles, prepares, and processes loan file documents for Underwriting approval.

3.Sets up, completes, and maintains loan files for the lending officer; closes and disburses loans; files correspondence and other records.

4.Maintains collateral insurance, lien positions, and UCC filings.

5.Enters information into computer; maintains tracking log; assigns loan numbers.

6.Composes and prepares correspondence.

7.Makes document copies; assists customers with loan and escrow questions; takes messages.

8.Assists with personnel record keeping as needed.

9.Prepares outgoing mail and cost center bill payments; runs bank errands using an automobile as needed.

10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Two years administrative, financial services or lending-related experience; or combination of education/training and experience.

Preferred: Financial services industry experience.
