NMS is seeking to hire an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician III to join the Nome School District Maintenance & Environmental team. This position provides scheduled and unscheduled preventative and emergency maintenance services for all Nome School District facilities. Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, oil fired boilers, hydronic heat water systems and heavy equipment is required. Candidates must have computer skills with email, Google Suites, and Microsoft Office applications. A driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years to be eligible for the NMS vehicle insurance policy is required. Starting rate of pay is $30.00/hr including a competitive health benefits package.
