NorthStar Helicopters is hiring! We are seeking a reliable person for a full-time, year-round parts/administrative coordinator position in our maintenance department. Benefits include medical/dental/vision insurance and 401K. Pay is dependent on experience. This position will work closely with maintenance technicians and will report to the Director and Assistant Director of Maintenance, and will be required to join our company drug program. Duties include:

Parts:

Management of and maintaining parts inventory at two helicopter bases: Check parts in, sign parts out, research, order for stock, consumables, maintain inventory control

Rotables (parts for overhaul): Order, receive, ship out cores and overhaulable items and repairs

Maintain all parts paperwork accordingly and manage files

Work with vendors to maintain parts availability, reduce overhaul costs

Forecasting for overhauls, retirement replacement and stock levels

Management of acquisition costs and shipping costs

Admin:

Maintain airframe/engine logbooks and hard cards (removed & installed components, modules, etc.)

Input data for acquired helicopters into TDATA for life limit and overhaul time tracking

Track, record, verify daily aircraft log sheets for accuracy

Track inspections & produce paperwork packages with work scope

Insure quality & consistency of paperwork packets once completed and file with appropriate aircraft documents

Knowledge, experience, skills required:

Excellent verbal/written communication skills required

Proficient with computers

Detail oriented/aptitude for math is beneficial

Ability to handle and complete many projects at once

Highly motivated, organized, and dependable

Ability to prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a quickly changing environment
