Hospice and Home Care of Juneau is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide in home care to home health and hospice patients. HHCJ nursing positions require the ability to work independently. This position participates in the on-call nursing rotation. This position provides nursing covering during periods of high patient volume and during time of vacation. Duties include but are not limited to: conducting stat of care evaluations; ensuring quality and safe delivery of home health and hospice services such as medication management, wound care, pain management, etc.; and providing timely and accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Appropriate degree and an active State of Alaska Nursing License required for this position. Experience in home health or hospice preferred. Must possess a valid Alaska driver's license and a vehicle. Pre-employment drug screening and background check required.
Compensation and Benefits
This a PRN position. Starting wage $41 - $45 per hour DOE. Benefits include a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan and Employees Assistance Program (EAP).
