Lifetime Eyecare is seeking a Paraoptometric Technician to join our team!
Basic qualifications:
Strong customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Work well as a team with coworkers from all departments
While not required, prior experience in a medical setting is a plus
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Enter patient medical history, allergies, and medications into our electronic medical records
Perform routine and diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, lensometry, eye pressure, retinal photography,
visual field testing, and OCT imaging
Update patients electronic chart with testing results
Assist in refill prescription requests and assist doctor in making patient referrals
Promptly respond to messages from patients, pharmacists, and other doctors
Maintain and clean exam rooms and equipment including ordering supplies
Studying for and passing the Certified Paraoptometric exam over time
Office culture is friendly and team-oriented. We offer a competitive salary. Position is full time, Mon, Wed, Thu 7:15am-5:30pm, and Tue 8:15am-7:30pm, with benefits including 401k, paid leave, paid holidays, vision benefits, and medical/dental insurance.
