Raindrop Services, a small provider agency, is hiring a Direct Service Professional, to provide person centered supports to people with disabilities in their homes and in community settings.
We are looking for positive people to provide supports to individuals helping them become more independent and learn new skills. If you are a positive person, patient and enjoy working with people then this could be a rewarding job for you.
Responsibilities include assistance in the home learning new skills, attending and participating in community events/recreational activities that promote independence and participation across all settings.
Position Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
First Aid/CPR Certification (training provided if needed)
Successfully pass a background check with the State of Alaska
Driver’s License, own car
Preferred
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
2 Positions- 20-40 hours a week.
Employment involves split shifts throughout the day. At least one weekend day is required for this position, flexibility is key to this successfully filling this position.
Pay: Starting $20 an hour, up to $22 an hour
