Girls on the Run & Boys Run I Toowú Klatseen Local Coordinator
Hours: 40hrs/week
Salary: $18/hr DOE + benefits
Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of AWAREs Statewide Girls on the Run (GOTR) Coordinator, oversee and implement GOTR & Boys Run I toowú klatseen (BRITK) in Juneau, and AWAREs service area.
Work with CCTHITA partners to implement BRITK program in Juneau.
Work with BRITK regional council to implement strategic plan.
Implement GOTR program plan and achieve program goals with respect to number of participants and number of sites
Work with site liaisons and key community partners to support GOTR & BRITK program implementation, including coaches training, CPR & First Aid, background checks, and ensure all program sites are staffed with qualified volunteer coaches.
Mentor and support GOTR & BRITK coaches and site liaisons in their implementation of GOTR & BRITK programs, including coach trainings, data management and reporting, and quality program implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a thorough understanding of domestic violence, sexual assault and the needs of survivors or the willingness to learn.
Must have the ability to be attentive to many details and tracking requirements.
Must pass an AWARE background check.
