OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR
True North Federal Credit Union is seeking someone to direct and schedule resources needed to ensure the delivery of front line services through the teller staff. The successful candidate will also ensure branch security, cash control, compliance with applicable regulations, and high standards of member service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Directs and monitors branch front line operations. Monitors product delivery, quality and takes action to resolve problems. Supervises the day to day operations fo the teller line and vault. Ensures a high level of member service in the branch and resolves member issues.
-Hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within the department; recommends promotions, transfers and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and takes action to coach and correct, including termination.
-Monitors department activities for compliance with established policy and regulations. Takes action to resolve any out of compliance issues.
-Orders daily cash requirement for the credit union. Manages vault cash.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
-To ensure that the department is providing friendly, professional, personal service to all members.
-To ensure that on average, tellers balance at least 90% of the time.
-To maintain a highly qualified staff, sufficient to meet the daily demands of the credit union's members.
-To keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the department.
-To maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
-To note observations of employee performance into appropriate reporting tool, as well as, give to and receive feedback from employee including timely performance of appraisals.
-Compliance with all training requirements and deadlines as mandated by True North policy and federal banking regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
-A high school education or GED.
-Must have good communication skills for training other tellers. 10-key calculator and computer keyboard skills. Accurate with numbers and names.
